About
Lili Ou
For years, I sought solutions from the outside world.
Eventually, I realised the key had always been within me.

"I used to want everything, but now I know: I always have whatever I truly need."
When I was aware that resilience means more than intelligence, I was drawn to self deep-dive, and became a QHHT practitioner.

01
early years
A childhood of
high expectations —
and a longing for love.
Shunde · Wuhan, China
Growing up as a Cantonese girl in a family of educators in Shunde, my path felt pre-determined. Surrounded by strict standards, I often felt pressured and unworthy—especially under the harsh words of my mother. I didn't realize then that her toughness came from her own survival story, growing up in a complex family fighting for love and resources.
For years, I sought comfort in material things to fill an inner emptiness. Studying brought me no joy, only pressure. Everything shifted when I attended university. On a rural campus in Wuhan, far from the familiar expectations, my genuine love for learning finally awakened—and it has remained with me ever since.

Through each challenge,
a new light.
China · Hong Kong · Singapore · Middle East
After graduating in 2006, I joined a Fortune 500 bank and was selected for an overseas assignment in Hong Kong. Moving to a new city felt oddly unfamiliar; on my first day, I got lost and felt like an outsider in my own culture. Yet, Hong Kong taught me resilience and reminded me that home is more than geography.
Since 2013, I built a career spanning Chinese banks, Alibaba, and foreign institutions across Singapore, the EU, and the Middle East. Headhunters praised my abilities, but deep down, I still battled that childhood voice telling me I wasn't enough. I was upgrading my mindset and gaining immense global expertise, but it often felt like the jobs were choosing me, not the other way around.

Awakening · 2023-Present
Be Humble.
Be Generous.
Be Honest with Myself.
The universe called me at 40, not 50.
While in banking, I explored various metaphysical methodologies, searching for answers my master's degree couldn't provide. I made a silent promise: by the time I turned 50, I would become someone who truly helps others through transformative work. But the universe had its own timeline. It called me to leave banking at 40.
I became a QHHT® practitioner and a certified coach, and Fortune Channels was born. Life-changing experiences—like a Vipassana retreat and volunteering in Kenya—stripped away the result-oriented, comparison-driven version of myself.
Yet, the universe always surprises us. By detaching from expectations, I have experienced more than I could have ever imagined. Today, I feel as though I am living multiple lifetimes in one: traveling the world to support clients in multiple languages, serving as a guest mentor at HKUST Business School, coaching at renowned international institutions with nearly 600 service hours in two years, publishing my book From Without to Within, and inventing a Fintech protocol with a provisional patent in Singapore.
I no longer seek external validation; instead, I trust the wisdom within.
